How It All Started
We had experienced the problem of creating a fair, scalable, and accurate screening process for software engineers, both from the candidate & company side. In order to address this problem, we founded CodeScreen in 2018.

What do we do today?
We provide a fair, accurate & scalable technical assessment solution.
Who do we serve?
We serve customers all over the globe that are hiring software developers, ranging from small startups, SMBs, Freelancing platforms & Multinational companies. We also work with bootcamps & universities to streamline their Computer Science courses.
What do we aim to accomplish?
We want to give candidates from all backgrounds a fair shot at being hired in any company. For both HR and Engineering teams, we want to save time, reduce stress and energy, and increase accuracy in hiring the right person.
What impact do we want to achieve?
We want to drive success in organizations by making the hiring process as quick and accurate as possible while enabling a diverse culture by giving candidates a fair shot irrespective of the candidate’s background and location.
Our Vision
Where are we going moving forward?
We want to expand into new tech areas, such as Web3, AI/ML, Data Science, and QA Engineers. In addition, we are working on providing the CodeScreen service fully in other languages, such as Portuguese, German, Arabic, etc. We also want to continue expanding our hiring philosophy of providing an accurate, efficient, and fair screening process into other non-tech professions.

Dave Cervi
CEO & Founder
Dave leads the company and is involved in everything from developing CodeScreen’s serverless cloud-based architecture to defining the product roadmap.
Prior to founding CodeScreen, Dave worked as a software engineer for multiple startups based in both London and Dublin.
Dave graduated from Maynooth University in Ireland with a first-class honours degree in Computer Science and Software Engineering.
Paul Cervi
CFO
Prior to CodeScreen, Paul worked in the finance department of RDI REIT Plc, a property investment business based in London and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with PwC in 2016.
Paul graduated from Maynooth University in Ireland with a first-class honours degree in Finance and Accounting and earned a master’s degree in Accounting from the Dublin Institute of Technology.
Hauke Moeschke
COO
Hauke is the COO of CodeScreen, focusing on Business Development and Marketing.
Prior to CodeScreen, Hauke worked in Business Development and Sales for Weinman Emergency, a major German medical device manufacturer.
Hauke graduated as an Industrial Engineer from Nordakademie University in Hamburg, Germany.
